
FACILITATING TRAINING FOR SELECTED VILLAGE LEADERS, TLM FOUNDATION IS APPRECIATED BY REGENT OF ALOR
Cooperating with Government of Alor Regency, Tanaoba Lais Manekat GMIT Foundation (TLM GMIT) facilitated a training of Medium Term Village Establishment Plan Training for approximately 289 people who consist of 136 selected Village Leader , 136 selected village Discussion Agency, several sub-district head, village expert, Representatives of Community and Village Empowerment Department (of Alor Regency as local committee and TLM Foundation staff.
The distinguished training was held for 2 days, Thursday and Friday (3-4/1-/2019) in Alor Regional Government Hall last week.
Regent of Alor, Drs. Amon Djobo who was present in the training gave his appreciation for TLM Foundation that was willing to collaborate with Alor Government to facilitate the training.
“On behalf of Alor Government I welcome my friends from TLM and Haji Yusuf Murtiono as our spokesperson. Thank you for being here. We really appreciate you all my friends for this great cooperation”. Stated Amon Djobo in his welcoming speech.
Moreover he appealed the selected village head and the discussion agency follow 2 days material from spokesperson thoroughly so later when they work, they can outline their vision and mission in establishment plan document judiciously so that they will be able to accommodate need of community according to existing potency.
“My friends all the village head here please learn carefully from this training because all of you are the executors of regional development, especially village developments. So please include your vision and mission in the Medium Term Village Establishment Plan by considering these three matters that are existing village potency, opportunity and issue. In that, the development will become distinct.
Marzuki Galeko, SE, section head of Community Empowerment Cadre – Department of Community and Village Empowerment of Alor Regency as committee head when reading committee report stated that budget of training activity was sourced from Local Government Budget 2019 of Alor Regency, from budget post of Community and Village Empowerment Department and also from TLM Foundation.
In his report, Marzuki mentioned the training aims to equalize perception of all selected village leaders and discussion agencies and local government and central government on Village Establishment Plan according to Law Number 6 year 2014 on villa so the Medium Term Establishment Plan of Village which has been framed becomes a benchmark of establishment implementation as well as benchmark of the success of village development.
He also mentioned that the material presented in the training; Village Government Management according to Law Number 6 Year 2014, Village Government Plan System and Concept, Village Establishment Planning Stages, Medium Term Establishment Plan of Village Making Technique, and Village Budget Plan Making Technique delivered by two spokespersons from Community and Village Empowerment Department and a guest spokperson; Haji Yusuf Murtiono, CEO of Forum Masyarkat Sipil (Formasi)/Civil Society Forum, facilitated by TLM Foundation.
One of the training participants, Imanues Ouw, Spd, a selected village leader from Lendola village told his respond after the training in the second day saying he and other village leader are so thankful that they were provided with a chance to learn very practically in this training because as a leader, he needs to know about the existing regulation so later there will be no distortion in the village establishment implementation.
“me representing my other village leaders head thank the committee from from Community and Village Empowerment Department and from TLM Foundation who have invited us, we are so grateful to learn so many things about Village Establishment Planning Stages so that new comers like us will not take a wrong turn during the implementation”, said Imanuel.
