Productive Garden Water Project Procurement

Productive garden water project procurement in Kolobolon uses spring water that is located in the height of 800 meter from the garden area. To irrigate water from  spring to garden, TLM and villagers make use of gravity to facilitate and save energy in watering horticultural plants in productive garden.

The water infrastructure project covers:

  1. Pipelin
  2. Plastic Tarpaulin
  3. Fiber tank and,
  4. Water tanks

All these process involve local community (24 members of productive garden).

This water infrastructure project can fulfill 0,5 acre of productive garden  water need .

Officials and Community Training on Village Establishment based on 2014 Village Law

On 2015, Government declared a policy to establish nation from village and it is followed up by the published of Village Law Number 6 Year 2014.

Villages are given autonomy to manage the establishment from planning to developing.  Every year, Government provide village fund from APBN (Regional Revenues and Expenditures Budget). The management of the budget is the responsibility of village officials and village community. TLM Foundation takes part to improve the capacity of the officials and the community to implement village establishment.

The program is “Officials and Community Training about Village Establishment  on the implementation of Village Law Number 6 Year 2014”.

Productive Garden

TLM foundation through village facilitators  invited Maubesi villagers to transform 40 acre of unproductive land to be productive so it can be used as their additional income source.

Productive garden in Maubesi villa0ge has 12 family heads as members (22 people

This garden began to be processed since March 2017 by planting red onions, garlics, , green beans, yardlong beans, cos lettuce, water spinach and chili.

All the plants  were planted organically  making them safe to consume and good to sell.

Different from Lidamanu village, productive garden in Maubesi using available  wells in garden area. To irrigate water from spring to  garden, hydroelectricity is used. It can  retrench time and energy  for horticultural irrigation in productive garden.

Water infrastructure project covers:

1.Hydroelectricity

2.Electricity Meter

3.Pipe installment, and

4.Water tanks.

All these process involve local community (22 members of productive garden). This water infrastructure project can fulfill 0,5 acre of productive garden  water need.
