The TLM GMIT Foundation Rote Ndao Branch has been officially operating since April 2024 under the leadership of Hengky Thine as Branch Head, together with three program staff. The branch office is located in the Regent's Office Area, Jl. Civic Center, Mokdale Sub-district, Lobalain, Rote Ndao.
This branch was established to continue a range of community empowerment programs in Rote previously managed directly by the Head Office. Today, the Rote Ndao Branch supports 10 villages: Suelain, Helebeik, Kuli, Kuli Aisele, Maubesi, Lidamanu, Kolobolon, Modosinal, Toulama, and Oebole.
Rote Ndao Branch is dedicated to create real impact through these programs:
supporting pregnant mothers, child nutrition, preventing stunting, and reducing maternal health risks.
building community resilience and protecting the environment.
strengthening small businesses and community groups.
improving health and quality of life.
creating alternative sources of income.
In implementing its programs, the Rote Ndao Branch partners with the Department of Village Community Empowerment (PMD) of Rote Ndao Regency, local village governments, health centers (Puskesmas), sub-health centers (Pustu), integrated health posts (Posyandu), the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), and the Department of Agriculture. Programs are funded by Head Office and UnitingWorld. Beyond its core programs, the branch also manages an egg-selling business that contributes to sustaining its operations and community initiatives.
By December 2024, the Rote Ndao Branch had reached 2,845 direct beneficiaries and around 11,380 indirect beneficiaries in its target areas.
