Sarlin Ndolu (80 years old) and Dorkas Fanggidae (47 years old), both widows living in Hoteas Hamlet, Helebeik Village, Lobalain Subdistrict, Rote Ndao, had for many years struggled to meet their daily need for clean water by drawing it from a well and carrying it home.
